Description:
Thalle Construction is looking for an experienced Project Manager who will provide the overall management direction to one or more projects. The individual must be resourceful and self motivated with the ability to manage challenging projects. Thalle Construction is a diversified heavy civil construction company with projects across the East Coast of the US with plans to expand internationally. Projects include dam construction, large utility work, environmental and landfill construction, major site work and large heavy civil projects.

Ideal Candidate:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum of 10 years experience in heavy civil projects.
Very strong oral and written communication skills
Has managed projects with demanding schedules
Pragmatic & exhibits exceptional professional judgment
Has experience working with a diverse workforce
Ability to multi task and prioritize without significant direct supervision
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of Construction Management software including Primavera, Expedition, Timberline, HCSS Heavy Bid
References Required

Responsibilities:

Maintain continuous contact with the client
Represent Thalle in all project meetings with the client
Select and administer suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
Responsible for meeting the scheduling and financial goals of the project
Complete and submit reports and documents in a timely manner
Identify and prepare change orders, claims and work extras
Negotiate contract terms and change orders
Manage jobsite personnel and equipment
Ensure the work is performed in accordance with Contract Documents and standard of Quality
Responsible for project monthly cost and status review
