It is with a heavy heart that we pass along the news that one of our coworkers died over the weekend.
Willis C. Briggs, Sr. was a truck driver with Thalle, and a widely admired and respected member of our team. His long battle with cancer came to an end on Sunday, July the 31st at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
Mr. Briggs (also known as 'Moondogg') was a veteran of the US Air Force, and a member of Old Lea Bethel Baptist Church in Roxboro. He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter, two grandchildren, and two dogs.
His warm sense of humor, good nature, quick laugh, and booming voice will be missed by everyone at Thalle Construction; and we offer our sincere condolences to his family.
