The Tully Group (http://www.tullyconstruction.com/company/), one of New York’s largest privately held construction firms, acquired Thalle Construction in December 2012.  The Tully Group has been in business for almost 90 years as a heavy contractor in New York City.  Tully brings additional expertise, significant financial strength and bonding capacity, to meet our customers’ needs.  Tully has extensive experience in a wide range of construction projects that include highway, bridge, airport, transit and treatment plants.  Tully also brings experience in operating asphalt plants, quarries, waste transfer stations, and recycling facilities.  Tully Group has answered industry demands with design/build and project financing through Public Private Partnership (PPP) capabilities to provide client solutions from concept through construction, and through operations and maintenance.  The acquisition of Thalle has brought together two industry leading contractors to form a strong team that provides a complete footprint nationwide.  This acquisition will enhance our ability to meet the future needs of our clients and adapt to the industry’s competitive environment and economic conditions.  Synergies created by the executive management teams will develop a competitive advantage by increasing flexibility, growth, and value.

US Army Corp and State Officials Celebrated Prompton Dam Project!

From WNEP News The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and state officials celebrated the new improvements and a new facility at the Prompton Dam in Wayne County Wednesday.  The project is successfully completed by Thalle Construction Co., Inc. The completed project will better protect several communities including Honesdale and Hawley from flooding.
 

 

Thalle will Begin $5.7M James River Interceptor Div 3A Project on Aug 13, 2012!

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is notified by City of Lynchburg, Virginia to commence work for James River Interceptor Division 3A Project. Thalle was awarded the project on June 4, 2012 for $5,740,000. Construction will begin on Aug 13, 2012 to complete the work within 480 consecutive calendar days.

Army Corps to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Prompton Dam
PHILADELPHIA (Aug. 2, 2012): The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Philadelphia District will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 :00 a.m. Aug. 22 at Prompton Dam. The ceremony recognizes the completion of a two- phase construction project which included modifying the dam spillway, building an operations center and maintenance garage and constructing a new access road and spillway bridge to the dam.

Thalle has kicked off its $21.5 Million New Ragged Mountain Dam Project!
On May 2, 2012 Thalle Construction Co., Inc. has kicked off its New Ragged Mountain Dam Project located in Charlottesville, VA. The project was bid in December 2011 and Thalle was apparent low bidder for $21,527,750.50. Thalle received the Notice of Award (NOA) on March 20, 2012 followed by the Notice of Proceed (NTP) on April 23, 2012.
